Online Romanian language course for intermediate level students

On March 4, 2021, the Romanian language course for intermediate learners will begin. The course will start online, but if possible and with the approval of the Minister of Health, the lessons will continue in person. The meetings will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:30.

The training is suitable for people who have studied the language in the past, understand what is being said, but feel hesitant to communicate. The focus will be on business communication, with more exercises and situations that people encounter when interacting with business partners—clients, suppliers, and others.

The course is aimed at people who have basic theoretical knowledge of the Romanian language, as well as those who have learned the language "on the go"—without formal training. You can check your knowledge before the course starts to assess if this level is right for you. The lessons include practical activities and communication with native speakers.

Lecturer: Annie Vulcheva

A simultaneous translator with over 15 years of experience, a teacher with an innovative approach, and the author of foreign language training programs. The Romanian language course offered by the Professional Training Center of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been specially developed with her help, based on her experience in teaching adults.

What will you be able to do by the end of the course?

• Understand phrases and the most common words related to areas of personal importance (family, shopping, work), short messages, and statements;
• Read short texts and find specific information in everyday topics;
• Communicate in routine tasks that require direct exchange of information on popular topics and activities—exchanging short remarks in social contacts to keep the conversation going;
• Write short notes or messages.

The course fee is 350 BGN, including VAT. Companies that are members of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce receive a 10% discount on the price when enrolling their employees.
