The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce's social mission and corporate responsibility are embodied in the Bulgarian-Romanian Children's Fund, established in 2017.
The Fund aims to support various collaborative activities for Bulgarian and Romanian youth, fostering connections and participation in shared health, educational, and cultural initiatives.
We began this journey in 2017 when the team at the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce established the Bulgarian-Romanian Children's Fund. Reflecting on our past, we recalled the children we once were and the dreams we held. This inspired us to encourage young minds from both sides of the Danube to meet and connect, building bridges and fostering lasting friendships.
We firmly believe that engaging with people from different cultures at an early age helps cultivate a broad worldview, promotes acceptance of differences, and creates opportunities for adaptation. Through the Fund, we encourage Bulgarian and Romanian children to meet, play, and learn together, fostering friendships and overcoming any cultural barriers that may arise in the future.
The Fund attracts and gathers resources that are used to finance various events and activities in both countries, as determined by the Board of Directors of the Chamber.
