The "bridge toll" at Giurgiu-Ruse can now be paid online

The option for online payment of the toll for crossing the Danube Bridge towards Ruse – Giurgiu is now available through the electronic portal of the Customs Agency. This option can be used by all light vehicles (up to 8+1 seats) leaving the Republic of Bulgaria, regardless of their country of registration.

The toll is legislatively set (2 euros or 4 BGN) for both cash and non-cash online payments. No bank fees apply for online or non-cash payments. The online payment through the platform can be made in advance and at any time.

Upon successful payment, a confirmation will be sent via email. The Customs Agency recommends checking the spam folder of the email as well.

When the vehicle arrives at the Danube Bridge – Ruse, a customs officer will verify the payment of the toll based on the vehicle's registration number. For any questions or assistance, you can register a request at the Service Desk of the Customs Agency by emailing: ServiceDesk@customs.bg.
