Autumn Romanian language course for advanced students

The autumn Romanian language courses, organized by the Professional Training Center of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, will begin on October 6, 2020. On this date, the intermediate group will start, where participants will practice business communication. The training (80 hours in total) will take place twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in the classroom at 12-14 Voivodova Street. The registration form is available here.

The course is suitable for those who have previously studied the language, understand what is being said, but are hesitant to communicate. The focus will mainly be on business communication, with more exercises and situations that people encounter when communicating with business partners – clients, suppliers, and others.

The course is open to people with basic theoretical knowledge of Romanian, as well as those who have learned the language "on the go" – without formal training. If you have concerns about your level, you can check your knowledge before the course starts to assess if this level is suitable for you.

The lecturer will be Annie Vulcheva – a simultaneous translator with over 15 years of experience, a teacher with an innovative approach, and the author of foreign language training programs. The Romanian language course at the Professional Training Center of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce has been specially developed with her help, based on her experience in teaching adults.

What will you be able to do by the end of the course?

• Understand phrases and the most common words related to areas of personal importance (family, shopping, work), short messages, and statements;
• Read short texts, find specific information in everyday topics;
• Communicate in routine tasks that require direct exchange of information on popular topics and activities – exchanging short remarks in social contacts to keep the conversation going;
• Write short notes or messages.
• Those who successfully complete the training can receive a Certificate for level (A2) in Key Competence 2 – Foreign Language Learning.

The course fee is 350 BGN, including VAT, and includes textbooks, aids, and writing supplies (notebooks, pencils, colored pens).
